It feels only right that, when I celebrated the second anniversary of taking on my first personal training client last week, I’m now able to increase capacity further! This has been a long time coming, and I’m grateful to my existing clients for their support, which has enabled me to take this step. Read on to find out more about booking fitness sessions with me in Horsham…

Book now for January
I know, Christmas is coming and you want to enjoy it – so do I! So this isn’t a nag about getting into the gym and working on New Year goals in January 2024. My existing clients (I hope!) know that if you want a 90-day challenge or an extreme overhaul of your habits, you need to train with someone else – it’s not what I do.

For me, fitness and health are about consistency, so that you don’t feel that you have to do those short-term crash-episodes to “prepare” for that big event that’s coming up, or a holiday. You’re already ready for both of those things, in my opinion, just as you are.

However, if you’ve decided that now is the time to make a start at the gym and you’re looking for someone to train one-to-one is, January is when I’m opening up my books and increasing the hours I spend with my clients on the gym floor.

What to expect from personal training
I blogged on this just recently, so you might find this post interesting. If that either sounds like something you want, or you have questions, then that’s absolutely fine – I always start my relationship with a client via a free consultation, which I’ve got space for in December, with perfect timing for you to then start training either then or in January.

Until now, I’ve offered the majority of my sessions on Fridays, but as of January 2024, I’ll have Tuesdays and Fridays available at Dual Strength + Fitness in Horsham. I’m fully self-employed, so all bookings and payments are made directly with me. You don’t need to be a member at Dual to train with me (although if you want to be in order to train in the same environment by yourself, I highly recommend it as a gym!), there’s free on-site parking and you’ll still have access to the changing room facilities should you require them.

How to book
If you’d like to book in, or find out more, please email me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I specialise in helping those who have historically struggled with their confidence when it comes to fitness (including employing some clever tricks to help you avoid, but then get friendly with the mirrors that most people hate so much), and I’m qualified to train those who are facing, undergoing, or have completed cancer treatment.

I take a compassionate approach to training – we work at your pace, though ensure that we’re being progressive at the same time, and you can see feedback from clients via my Google Business page here.

I’m really excited to be taking this step – I’ve spent two years offering only Fridays, plus training a small number of clients online, and I’m pleased to now have had the support of existing clients to the extent that the demand is there for me to open up an additional day. There’s still space for newcomers though, so please step forward if we haven’t worked together before. I’m looking forward to meeting you for a consultation session soon – spaces for these are available on 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th December. Get in touch to book your place!
